Edit title and description, delete recordings, bulk operations, download recordings, share recordings, move to folders.

Recording Actions

Manage your recordings with various actions available throughout the platform.

Edit Title and Description

Edit Title:

  1. Navigate to the recording details page
  2. Click the edit icon next to the title
  3. Enter the new title (max 200 characters)
  4. Press Enter or click outside to save

Edit Description:

  1. Go to the recording details page
  2. Click "Edit" in the description section
  3. Update the description (max 500 characters)
  4. Click "Save" to confirm

Tip: Use descriptive titles and descriptions to make recordings easier to find later.

Delete Recordings

Delete a Single Recording:

  1. Navigate to the recording
  2. Click the delete button (trash icon)
  3. Confirm deletion in the dialog
  4. Recording will be permanently deleted

Bulk Delete:

  1. Select multiple recordings using checkboxes
  2. Click the bulk actions menu
  3. Select "Delete"
  4. Confirm deletion

Warning: Deleted recordings cannot be recovered. Make sure you want to delete before confirming.

Bulk Operations

Perform actions on multiple recordings at once:

Available Bulk Actions:

  • Delete: Remove multiple recordings
  • Move to Folder: Organize multiple recordings
  • Share: Share multiple recordings with team members
  • Add Tags: Apply tags to multiple recordings
  • Remove Tags: Remove tags from multiple recordings

How to Use:

  1. Select recordings using checkboxes
  2. Click the bulk actions button
  3. Choose your action
  4. Complete the action dialog

Download Recordings

Download recordings to your computer:

  1. Navigate to the recording details page
  2. Click the download button
  3. The original file will be downloaded
  4. File maintains original format and quality

Note: Downloads use your original uploaded file. Processing and transcription don't modify the original file.

Share Recordings

Share recordings with team members:

  1. Click the share button on a recording
  2. Select team members from the list
  3. Choose permission level (View, Edit, or Owner)
  4. Add an optional message
  5. Click "Share"

Permission Levels:

  • View: Can view and download
  • Edit: Can view, edit metadata, and download
  • Owner: Full control including deletion

Shared recordings appear in the recipient's "Shared with Me" section.

Move to Folders

Organize recordings by moving them to folders:

From Recording Details:

  1. Click the folder dropdown
  2. Select a destination folder
  3. Recording is moved immediately

From List View:

  1. Use the folder dropdown on a recording row
  2. Select destination folder
  3. Or drag and drop onto folder in sidebar

Bulk Move:

  1. Select multiple recordings
  2. Use bulk actions menu
  3. Choose "Move to Folder"
  4. Select destination folder

Tip: You can also drag recordings directly onto folders in the folder navigation sidebar.
