Transcript View

Full Transcript Display

Once transcription is complete, you can view the full transcript in the Transcript tab of any recording. The transcript displays:

  • Timestamped Entries: Each segment includes a timestamp for easy navigation
  • Speaker Labels: Each speaker is identified with labels (SPEAKER_1, SPEAKER_2, etc.)
  • Formatted Text: Clean, readable text with proper punctuation and capitalization
  • Scrollable View: Easy scrolling through long transcripts

Timestamp Navigation

Timestamps allow you to quickly jump to specific moments in your recording:

  • Click Timestamps: Click any timestamp to jump to that moment in the video player
  • Synchronized Playback: The transcript highlights the current segment as the video plays
  • Precise Navigation: Timestamps are accurate to the second

Speaker Identification

Each speaker in the transcript is automatically labeled:

  • Automatic Labels: Speakers are labeled as SPEAKER_1, SPEAKER_2, etc.
  • Speaker Assignment: You can assign names to speakers (see Speaker Management section)
  • Color Coding: Different speakers may be color-coded for easy visual distinction
  • Speaker Statistics: View how much each speaker contributed to the conversation

Search in Transcript

Quickly find specific words or phrases in your transcript:

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the transcript view
  2. Type your search term
  3. All matching instances are highlighted
  4. Use arrow keys to navigate between matches
  5. Click any match to jump to that moment in the video

Search Features:

  • Case-Insensitive: Finds matches regardless of capitalization
  • Partial Matches: Finds words containing your search term
  • Multiple Results: Shows all occurrences with context

Copy Transcript

Copy the transcript text for use in other applications:

  1. Click the Copy button in the transcript toolbar
  2. The entire transcript is copied to your clipboard
  3. Paste it into any document, email, or application

Copy Options:

  • Full Transcript: Copy the entire transcript
  • Selected Text: Select specific portions to copy
  • With Timestamps: Include timestamps in the copied text
  • Without Timestamps: Copy clean text only

Export Transcript

Export your transcript in various formats:

  1. Click the Export button in the transcript toolbar
  2. Choose your preferred format:
  • TXT: Plain text file
  • DOCX: Microsoft Word document
  • PDF: PDF document with formatting
  • SRT: Subtitle file for video editing
  1. Download the file to your device

Transcript Formatting

The transcript is automatically formatted for readability:

  • Paragraph Breaks: Natural pauses create paragraph breaks
  • Punctuation: Proper punctuation is added automatically
  • Capitalization: Sentences begin with capital letters
  • Speaker Labels: Clear speaker identification throughout
