Applying Prompts to Recordings

Use your custom prompts to generate specialized summaries:

  1. Navigate to a recording's detail page
  2. Go to the Summary tab
  3. Click Apply Custom Prompt
  4. Select a prompt from your library
  5. Click Generate
  6. Review the customized summary

When to Use Custom Prompts:

  • When you need a specific type of analysis
  • For recurring meeting types (standups, reviews, etc.)
  • To extract specific information
  • To match your team's reporting format

Prompt Results

After applying a prompt, you'll receive:

  • Customized Summary: Tailored to your prompt's instructions
  • Formatted Output: In the format you specified
  • Focused Content: Emphasizing what you requested
  • Timestamp References: Links to relevant parts of the recording

Reviewing Results:

  • Check if the output matches your expectations
  • Refine the prompt if needed
  • Save successful prompts as templates
  • Share results with your team

Regenerating with Prompts

Regenerate summaries using different prompts:

  1. Go to the Summary tab
  2. Click Regenerate Summary
  3. Select a different prompt
  4. Generate a new summary

You can generate multiple summaries with different prompts for the same recording, each providing a different perspective.

Built-in Templates:

  • Executive Summary: High-level overview for leadership
  • Action Items Focus: Emphasizes tasks and commitments
  • Technical Summary: Focuses on technical decisions
  • Sales Analysis: Analyzes customer interactions
  • Meeting Minutes: Traditional meeting minutes format

Using Templates:

  1. Browse available templates
  2. Select a template
  3. Optionally customize it
  4. Save as your own prompt
  5. Apply to recordings
