Account Settings

Account Information

View and manage your account details:

Account Details

  • Account ID: Your unique account identifier
  • Account Type: Your current subscription plan
  • Account Status: Active, Suspended, or Cancelled
  • Created Date: When your account was created
  • Last Login: Your most recent login timestamp

Password Management

Keep your account secure by managing your password:

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to SettingsAccount SettingsPassword
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password (must meet security requirements)
  4. Confirm your new password
  5. Click Update Password

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

Security Tip: Use a unique password that you don't use for other accounts. Consider using a password manager.

Password Recovery

If you forget your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Click the link and create a new password

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account:

Enabling 2FA

  1. Navigate to SettingsAccount SettingsSecurity
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
  3. Choose your 2FA method:
    • Authenticator App: Use apps like Google Authenticator or Authy
    • SMS: Receive codes via text message
    • Email: Receive codes via email
  4. Follow the setup instructions for your chosen method
  5. Enter a verification code to confirm setup
  6. Save backup codes in a secure location

Managing 2FA

  • Disable 2FA: Turn off two-factor authentication (requires password confirmation)
  • Change 2FA Method: Switch between authenticator app, SMS, or email
  • View Backup Codes: Access your backup codes for account recovery
  • Regenerate Backup Codes: Create new backup codes (invalidates old ones)

Important: Keep your backup codes in a safe place. You'll need them if you lose access to your 2FA device.

Account Deletion

Permanently delete your account and all associated data:

Before Deleting Your Account

  • Export Your Data: Download all your recordings, transcripts, and data before deletion
  • Cancel Subscriptions: Ensure all active subscriptions are cancelled
  • Transfer Ownership: Transfer ownership of shared content to other team members
  • Backup Important Data: Make sure you have backups of any critical information

Deleting Your Account

  1. Go to SettingsAccount SettingsDelete Account
  2. Read the deletion warning carefully
  3. Enter your password to confirm
  4. Type "DELETE" to confirm deletion
  5. Click Delete My Account

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your recordings, transcripts, and data will be permanently deleted.

Data Export

Export your account data for backup or migration:

Exporting Your Data

  1. Navigate to SettingsAccount SettingsData Export
  2. Select what to export:
    • Recordings: All uploaded recordings
    • Transcripts: All transcript files
    • Summaries: All AI-generated summaries
    • Meetings: All meeting records
    • Account Data: Profile and settings information
  3. Choose export format (ZIP, JSON, or CSV)
  4. Click Request Export
  5. You'll receive an email when the export is ready
  6. Download the export file (available for 7 days)

Note: Large exports may take several hours to process. You'll be notified via email when ready.
