Create custom prompts to generate specialized summaries and analyses tailored to your specific needs.

Creating a New Prompt:

  1. Navigate to SettingsPrompts & Templates
  2. Click Create New Prompt
  3. Fill in the prompt details:
  • Name: Give your prompt a descriptive name
  • Description: Explain what the prompt does
  • Content: Write the prompt instructions
  1. Save your prompt

Prompt Name and Description

Prompt Name:

  • Use descriptive names that clearly indicate the prompt's purpose
  • Examples: "Sales Call Analysis", "Technical Decision Summary", "Action Items Only"
  • Keep names concise but informative

Prompt Description:

  • Explain what the prompt does
  • Describe when to use it
  • Note any special requirements
  • Help others understand the prompt's purpose

Prompt Content

The prompt content is where you define what you want the AI to do:

Prompt Structure:

  • Clear Instructions: Be specific about what you want
  • Format Requirements: Specify the desired output format
  • Focus Areas: Highlight what to emphasize
  • Exclusions: Mention what to exclude if needed

Example Prompt Content:

Analyze this meeting transcript and create a summary focused on:

1. Customer pain points mentioned

2. Proposed solutions discussed

3. Next steps and commitments

4. Timeline expectations

Format the summary as bullet points with clear sections.

Character Limits

Prompts have character limits to ensure optimal performance:

  • Maximum Length: 2,000 characters
  • Recommended Length: 500-1,000 characters for best results
  • Minimum Length: At least 50 characters

Tip: Keep prompts focused and specific. Longer prompts aren't always better - clarity is key.

Best Practices

Writing Effective Prompts:

  1. Be Specific: Clearly state what you want
  2. Use Examples: Include examples of desired output when helpful
  3. Set Format: Specify the output format (bullets, paragraphs, etc.)
  4. Focus Areas: Highlight what's most important
