Manage your meeting recordings, upload new content, and organize your video library efficiently. This guide covers everything you need to know about working with recordings on the platform.

Recording Types

The platform supports various types of recordings:

  • Video Recordings: Full video files with audio and visual content (MP4 format)
  • Audio Recordings: Audio-only files from meetings, calls, or voice memos (MP3, M4A, WAV formats)
  • Meeting Recordings: Recordings automatically associated with calendar meetings
  • Manual Uploads: Recordings uploaded directly by users

Supported Formats

The platform accepts the following file formats:

  • MP4: Video files (most common format)
  • MP3: Audio files (widely compatible)
  • M4A: Audio files (Apple format)
  • WAV: Uncompressed audio files (high quality)

Note: All formats are automatically processed and transcribed once uploaded.

File Size Limits

  • Maximum File Size: 2GB per recording
  • Recommended Size: Files under 500MB process faster
  • Large Files: Files over 1GB may take longer to process

Tip: If your recording exceeds 2GB, consider splitting it into multiple parts or compressing the file before upload.

Processing Statuses

Recordings go through several processing stages:

  • New: Recording uploaded but not yet processed
  • Split: Recording is being split into segments for processing
  • Transcribed: Transcription is in progress
  • Transcribe Queue: Recording is queued for transcription
  • Done: Processing complete, recording is ready to use
  • Error: Processing failed (can be reprocessed)
