Manual Meeting Creation

Create meetings manually when you need to track meetings that aren't in your calendar or want to add meetings from external sources.

Creating Meetings Manually

To create a new meeting:

  1. Navigate to Meetings → Click Create Meeting button
  2. Fill in the meeting details (see Meeting Details Form below)
  3. Optionally assign the meeting to a folder
  4. Click Create Meeting to save

Meeting Details Form

The meeting creation form includes the following fields:

Title and Description

  • Title: Enter a descriptive title for the meeting (required, max 128 characters)
  • Description: Add additional details about the meeting (optional, max 128 characters)

Meeting URL (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)

  • URL: Enter the meeting link (required)
    • Supports Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other video conferencing platforms
    • Must be a valid URL format
    • Maximum 256 characters

Password Protection

  • Password: If the meeting requires a password, enter it here (optional, max 128 characters)
    • Passwords are stored securely and encrypted
    • Only users with access to the meeting can view the password

Scheduled Start/End Times

  • Start Date: Select the date when the meeting begins
  • Start Time: Enter the time when the meeting starts (24-hour format)
  • End Time: Enter the time when the meeting ends (24-hour format)
  • The platform automatically calculates duration based on start and end times

Timezone Settings

  • Timezone: Select your timezone from the dropdown list
    • Defaults to your system timezone
    • Ensures accurate scheduling across different regions
    • All times are stored in UTC and displayed in your selected timezone

Duration Calculation

Duration is automatically calculated from start and end times:

  • If end time is before start time, the system assumes the meeting ends the next day
  • Duration is displayed in minutes
  • Minimum duration is 1 minute

Folder Assignment

  • Folder: Optionally assign the meeting to a folder for organization
    • Select from existing folders or create a new one
    • Helps organize meetings by project, team, or topic
    • Can be changed later

Quick Create Options

For faster meeting creation:

  • Join and Create: Create a meeting and immediately join it with the recording bot
  • Duplicate: Copy details from an existing meeting
  • Template: Use a meeting template for recurring meeting types
