Connect your project management tools to automatically create tasks, update statuses, and keep your projects in sync with meeting outcomes.

Jira Integration

Connecting Jira Account

  1. Navigate to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Find "Jira" in the integrations list
  3. Click "Connect" or "Set Up"
  4. Enter your Jira instance URL (e.g., yourcompany.atlassian.net)
  5. You'll be redirected to Jira's authentication page
  6. Sign in with your Jira account
  7. Authorize the platform to access your Jira account
  8. Review and grant the requested permissions
  9. You'll be redirected back with the connection established

Project Selection

After connecting, select which Jira projects to integrate:

  1. Open Jira integration settings
  2. Navigate to "Project Selection"
  3. Choose projects from the list of available projects
  4. You can select multiple projects
  5. Configure project-specific settings for each selected project
  6. Save your selection

Issue Creation from Meetings

Automatically create Jira issues from meeting content:

  1. Enable Auto-Creation: Turn on automatic issue creation in integration settings
  2. Issue Templates: Configure issue templates for different meeting types
  3. Field Mapping: Map meeting data to Jira issue fields
  4. Trigger Rules: Set rules for when issues should be created (e.g., when action items are detected)
  5. Project Assignment: Automatically assign issues to the correct Jira project

Manual Issue Creation:

  • From a meeting or recording, click "Create Jira Issue"
  • Select the target project
  • Choose issue type (Story, Task, Bug, etc.)
  • Review pre-filled information from the meeting
  • Add additional details if needed
  • Create the issue

Status Updates

Keep Jira issues updated based on meeting outcomes:

  • Automatic Updates: Issues are updated when related meetings are processed
  • Status Changes: Update issue status based on meeting discussions
  • Comment Addition: Add meeting summaries as comments to issues
  • Field Updates: Update custom fields with meeting insights

Field Mapping

Map meeting data to Jira issue fields:

  1. Open Jira integration settings
  2. Navigate to "Field Mapping"
  3. For each Jira field, select the corresponding meeting data source:
  • Title: Meeting title or recording title
  • Description: Meeting description or AI summary
  • Assignee: Meeting organizer or detected speaker
  • Labels: Meeting tags or hashtags
  • Custom Fields: Map to specific meeting metadata
  1. Save field mappings

Webhook Configuration

Set up webhooks for real-time updates:

  1. In Jira integration settings, navigate to "Webhooks"
  2. Enable webhook support
  3. Configure webhook events (issue created, updated, commented)
  4. Set up webhook URL (provided by the platform)
  5. Test webhook connectivity
  6. Save webhook configuration

Note: Webhook setup may require Jira administrator permissions.

Troubleshooting

Connection issues:

  • Verify Jira instance URL is correct
  • Check API token permissions
  • Ensure OAuth app is properly configured in Jira
  • Review Jira API access logs

Issue creation failures:

  • Verify project permissions
  • Check issue type permissions
  • Review field mapping configuration
  • Check Jira API rate limits

Sync errors:

  • Review error messages in integration status
  • Check Jira API status
  • Verify webhook configuration
  • Test API connectivity manually
