Managing Speakers

Speaker List

Access your speaker list from the main navigation:

  1. Navigate to Speakers in the main menu
  2. View all speakers in your organization
  3. See speaker statistics and participation counts
  4. Filter and search for specific speakers

The speaker list shows:

  • Speaker Name: The assigned name or default label
  • Email: Associated email address (if provided)
  • Recording Count: Number of recordings where this speaker appears
  • Total Speech Time: Combined speaking time across all recordings
  • Last Active: Date of most recent appearance

Creating Speakers

Create new speaker profiles to identify participants:

  1. Navigate to SpeakersCreate Speaker
  2. Enter the speaker's Name (required, max 100 characters)
  3. Optionally add an Email address
  4. Click Create Speaker

Best Practices for Creating Speakers:

  • Use full names for clarity
  • Add email addresses when available for better identification
  • Create speakers proactively for regular meeting participants
  • Use consistent naming conventions across your organization

Assigning Names to Speakers

Assign names to detected speakers directly from recordings:

  1. Open a recording and navigate to the Speakers tab
  2. Find the detected speaker (e.g., SPEAKER_1)
  3. Click on the speaker to open the assignment modal
  4. Enter the speaker's name and optional email
  5. Choose to:
  • Create New Speaker: Create a new speaker profile
  • Assign Existing Speaker: Link to an existing speaker profile
  1. Click Assign Speaker

Speaker Email Association

Associating email addresses with speakers provides several benefits:

  • Better Identification: Helps the system recognize speakers across recordings
  • User Linking: Can link speakers to platform user accounts
  • Contact Information: Maintains contact details for easy reference
  • Cross-Platform Recognition: Improves speaker recognition accuracy

Tip: Adding email addresses is especially useful for team members who regularly participate in meetings, as it helps the system automatically identify them in future recordings.

Speaker Profiles

Each speaker profile contains:

  • Basic Information: Name and email
  • Statistics: Total recordings, speech time, participation metrics
  • Recording History: List of all recordings where the speaker appears
  • Analytics: Engagement scores, sentiment trends, and participation patterns

View a speaker's profile by clicking on their name in the speaker list or from a recording's speaker tab.

Speaker Statistics

Track comprehensive statistics for each speaker:

  • Total Recordings: Number of recordings featuring this speaker
  • Total Speech Time: Cumulative speaking time across all recordings
  • Average Speech Duration: Average speaking time per recording
  • Participation Rate: Percentage of recordings where speaker was active
  • Engagement Score: Overall engagement metrics
  • Sentiment Trends: Sentiment analysis over time

Access statistics from the speaker list or individual speaker profiles.
