OAuth Authentication

Microsoft uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication:

  • Account Types: Supports both personal Microsoft accounts and work/school accounts
  • Multi-Factor Authentication: Works with MFA-enabled accounts
  • Admin Consent: For organizational accounts, admin consent may be required
  • Token Refresh: Tokens are automatically refreshed to maintain connection

Calendar Sync Settings

Configure how your Outlook calendar syncs:

  1. Open the Microsoft Calendar integration settings
  2. Account Selection: Choose which Microsoft account to sync (if you have multiple)
  3. Calendar Selection: Select specific calendars or sync all calendars
  4. Sync Direction: Choose one-way sync (calendar → platform) or two-way sync
  5. Event Types: Select which event types to sync (meetings, appointments, all events)

Meeting Import

Meetings are automatically imported based on your sync settings:

  • New Meetings: Automatically created when new calendar events are detected
  • Updated Meetings: Changes to calendar events are reflected in the platform
  • Deleted Meetings: Removed or marked as cancelled when calendar events are deleted
  • Recurring Series: Full recurring series are imported and managed

Common Issues

Authentication failures:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different browser
  • Verify Microsoft account credentials
  • Check if organizational policies restrict third-party access

Sync delays:

  • Check sync frequency settings
  • Manually trigger a sync
  • Verify network connectivity
  • Review Microsoft service status

Missing calendars:

  • Ensure calendars are shared or have proper permissions
  • Check calendar visibility settings in Outlook
  • Verify account has access to the calendars
