Recording Preferences

Configure how recordings are processed and stored:

Auto-Processing Settings

  • Auto-Transcribe: Automatically transcribe recordings upon upload (enabled by default)
  • Auto-Generate Summary: Automatically create AI summaries after transcription
  • Auto-Detect Speakers: Automatically identify and label speakers
  • Auto-Extract Action Items: Automatically extract action items from transcripts

Quality Settings

  • Transcription Quality: Choose between Standard (faster) or High (more accurate)
  • Speaker Detection Sensitivity: Adjust how sensitive speaker detection is
  • Summary Length: Select Short, Medium, or Long summary length
  • Processing Priority: Choose Normal or High priority processing

Note: Higher quality settings may increase processing time and usage of your transcription hours.

Storage Preferences

Manage how recordings are stored and organized:

Default Folder

  • Default Upload Folder: Set a default folder for new recordings
  • Auto-Organize: Automatically organize recordings based on meeting date or type
  • Folder Naming Convention: Configure how folders are named automatically

Storage Management

  • Storage Limit: View your current storage usage and limits
  • Storage Alerts: Set up alerts when approaching storage limits
  • Auto-Archive: Automatically archive old recordings after a specified period

Retention Policies

Configure how long recordings are kept:

  1. Navigate to SettingsRecording SettingsRetention
  2. Set retention policies:
    • Default Retention: Set default retention period (30, 60, 90 days, or unlimited)
    • Auto-Delete: Enable automatic deletion after retention period
    • Archive Before Delete: Archive recordings before deletion
    • Exception Rules: Create rules to exempt certain recordings from auto-deletion
  3. Click Save to apply retention policies

Warning: Once recordings are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Ensure you have backups if needed.
