Salesforce Integration

Salesforce Connection

  1. Navigate to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Find "Salesforce" in the integrations list
  3. Click "Connect" or "Set Up"
  4. Enter your Salesforce instance URL or select your Salesforce environment
  5. You'll be redirected to Salesforce's authentication page
  6. Sign in with your Salesforce account
  7. Review and grant the requested permissions
  8. Authorize the connection
  9. You'll be redirected back with the connection established

Object Scope Configuration

Configure which Salesforce objects to integrate:

  1. Open Salesforce integration settings
  2. Navigate to "Object Scope"
  3. Select objects to integrate:
  • Leads: Sync meeting data with lead records
  • Contacts: Update contact records with meeting insights
  • Opportunities: Sync opportunity-related meetings
  • Accounts: Associate meetings with account records
  • Cases: Link support meetings to case records
  1. Configure object-specific settings
  2. Save configuration

Record Filters

Set up filters to control which records are synced:

  1. In Salesforce integration settings, navigate to "Record Filters"
  2. For each object type, configure filters:
  • Owner Filters: Only sync records owned by specific users
  • Status Filters: Only sync records with specific statuses
  • Custom Filters: Use Salesforce SOQL queries for advanced filtering
  1. Test filters to ensure they work correctly
  2. Save filter configuration

Auto-Update Settings

Configure automatic updates to Salesforce records:

  • Meeting Association: Automatically link meetings to related Salesforce records
  • Activity Logging: Create activity records for meetings
  • Field Updates: Update record fields with meeting insights
  • Note Creation: Add meeting summaries as notes to records
  • Task Creation: Create tasks based on action items from meetings

Lead/Contact/Opportunity Sync

Lead Sync:

  • Automatically create leads from meeting participants
  • Update lead status based on meeting outcomes
  • Add meeting notes to lead records
  • Track lead engagement through meeting attendance

Contact Sync:

  • Update contact records with meeting insights
  • Log meetings as activities on contact records
  • Sync meeting summaries to contact notes
  • Track communication history

Opportunity Sync:

  • Associate meetings with opportunity records
  • Update opportunity stage based on meeting discussions
  • Sync meeting insights to opportunity fields
  • Track opportunity-related communications

Custom Field Mapping

Map meeting data to Salesforce custom fields:

  1. Open Salesforce integration settings
  2. Navigate to "Field Mapping"
  3. For each Salesforce field, select the corresponding meeting data:
  • Standard Fields: Map to standard Salesforce fields
  • Custom Fields: Map to custom fields in your Salesforce org
  • Formula Fields: Some fields may be calculated automatically
  1. Configure data transformation rules if needed
  2. Test field mappings
  3. Save configuration

Data Synchronization

Understand how data syncs between the platform and Salesforce:

  • Sync Direction: Configure one-way or bidirectional sync
  • Sync Frequency: Set how often to sync (real-time, hourly, daily)
  • Conflict Resolution: Define how to handle conflicting data
  • Sync Logs: Review sync history and errors
  • Data Validation: Ensure data meets Salesforce validation rules

Important: Ensure your Salesforce user has proper permissions to read and write the objects and fields you're syncing.
