Using Tags

Adding Tags to Recordings

Tag your recordings for better organization:

During Upload:

  1. When uploading a recording, use the "Tags" field
  2. Type tag names or select from existing tags
  3. Tags are applied immediately upon upload

After Upload:

  1. Navigate to the recording
  2. Click "Edit" or the edit icon
  3. Find the "Tags" section
  4. Type tag names or select from the tag picker
  5. Press Enter or click outside to add each tag
  6. Save changes

Bulk Tagging:

  1. Select multiple recordings
  2. Click "Bulk Actions" → "Add Tags"
  3. Select or type tags to add
  4. Click "Apply" to tag all selected recordings

Adding Tags to Meetings

Tag meetings for categorization:

  1. Navigate to the meeting
  2. Click "Edit" to edit meeting details
  3. Find the "Tags" field
  4. Type tag names or select from existing tags
  5. Add multiple tags by separating them or using the tag picker
  6. Save changes

Meeting Tag Examples:

  • weekly-sync, client-meeting, product-review
  • urgent, follow-up-required
  • sales-call, demo, onboarding

Tag Filtering

Filter content by tags:

  1. Navigate to Recordings or Meetings
  2. Use the filter bar or sidebar filters
  3. Click on "Tags" filter
  4. Select one or more tags to filter by
  5. Content will be filtered to show only items with selected tags
  6. Combine with other filters (folder, date, etc.) for precise results

Filter Options:

  • Single Tag: Show items with a specific tag
  • Multiple Tags (AND): Show items that have all selected tags
  • Multiple Tags (OR): Show items that have any of the selected tags
  • Exclude Tags: Exclude items with specific tags

Find content using tags in search:

  1. Use the global search bar
  2. Type tag: followed by the tag name (e.g., tag:client-call)
  3. Search results will show items with that tag
  4. Combine with other search terms for advanced queries

Search Examples:

  • tag:urgent - Find all urgent items
  • tag:client-call product - Find client calls about products
  • tag:sales OR tag:marketing - Find sales or marketing items

Tag Management

Manage your tags effectively:

Viewing All Tags:

  1. Navigate to SettingsTags
  2. See a list of all tags with:
  • Tag name and color
  • Usage count (how many items use the tag)
  • Creation date
  • Last used date

Editing Tags:

  1. Click on a tag in the tag list
  2. Edit name, color, or description
  3. Changes apply to all items using that tag
  4. Save changes

Deleting Tags:

  1. Select a tag from the list
  2. Click "Delete" or the trash icon
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. The tag will be removed from all items

Note: Deleting a tag doesn't delete the recordings or meetings that used it. Only the tag association is removed.

Removing Tags

Remove tags from specific items:

From a Single Item:

  1. Navigate to the recording or meeting
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Find the tag you want to remove
  4. Click the "X" on the tag or press Backspace
  5. Save changes

Bulk Removal:

  1. Select multiple items
  2. Click "Bulk Actions" → "Remove Tags"
  3. Select tags to remove
  4. Click "Apply" to remove tags from all selected items
